Family therapy is a form of psychotherapy. The therapist and the family, or particular family members, aim at examining the specific phenomenon the family requires help with. Such phenomena may be the behaviour of a child, questions related to development, relationships between siblings or the adults’ relationship.
Appointments can be arranged with the therapist and the whole family, or certain members of it. The goal is to make everyday life easier and to find new strengths and resources, as well as more happiness.
In family therapy it is common to, in addition to dialogue, use family trees, lifelines and paintings.
We usually work in pairs.
